Carlos opened That’s Dancing in 1992 and has been teaching ballroom dancing for over 20 years. Carlos began his dancing career in ballet and jazz. He performed with several ballet companies and trained with the renowned Phila-Danco before moving into Ballroom and Latin dance. In the years that followed, he has become a top pro-am teacher, competing professionally and earning many titles in the Rhythm and Latin categories. He was the United States Rising Star Latin Champion in 1992 and since then has gone on to earn titles at numerous competitions across the United States. He is also a member of the American Dance Montage Ballroom Theater Company, headed by Frank Regan, which travels around the United States performing for various events. He continues to compete professionally at competitions across the United States.
